I was also a chair member of several committees on campus to address the needs and concerns of students of color. After graduation I decided to dedicate a year of my life to service, I moved to Bridgeport, CT and spent a year volunteering full time at a middle school. Now, I have started my own financial services practice. I am dedicated to educating people on smart money practices and putting capital into my community. I would like to broaden my audience and reach as many people as possible because we can stop the cycle of poverty that is so prevalent in our communities with education and access to resources that have been traditionally out of reach for us. What It Is Like Working With Me Once you decide you’d like to work with me we are partners in achieving your financial goals. All of my clients have access to a wealth of knowledge and resources made available through and by me. I take all my clients through a process to establish where they are and where they want to be, my team and I create a recommendation to get you there and we work with you along the way. There’s a saying that people do business with those they know, like, and trust. When creating a plan knowing, liking, and trusting who you work with is crucial to its success. I’d like to serve as someone who you can come to as a resource, a cheerleader, and a coach. I will help hold you accountable to your goals and be there when things go wrong or you’re stuck. Some of the things that we could work on are: creating and sticking to budgets, executing savings plans, creating retirement plans, and personal and financial goal setting. It is always free to meet with me, and I’m always happy to help with whatever I can.
