First Ladies of Poverty Foundation is an award-winning mentoring community and membership program for hard-working and talented people of color seeking a personal blueprint for overcoming systemic barriers of oppression to escape an unfulfilling lifestyle and attain a higher quality of life.
The First Ladies of Poverty Foundation Scholarship and Grant Programs are created to give under-served, under-represented and low-income individuals the education, tools and network necessary to overcome systematic barriers of oppression for the chance to:
Pay It Forward
Pay It Forward Scholarship recipients are looking to work on their personal development and professional development to attain confidence, self love, growth and learn to build financial stability.
While receiving mentor-ship and scholarship perks, these recipients seek to start a project to give back to their community with the mentor-ship and support of the First Ladies of Poverty Foundation.
Annual Scholarship Application Dates
January - March; Closes March 01 of every year
April - June; Closes June 01 of every year
July - September; Closes September 01 of every year
