Questions/Conversations for the Future:
In order to start making change and creating practical solutions, we have to hear each other first and get a sense of where everyone is before assuming we already know. Thank you so much for attending and bringing your unique perspectives. The goal was to learn some new, start off broad--just from where people are and start narrowing down the conversations that need to be had to start effectively answering the difficult questions and effecting real solutions to the problem of systemic racism (which includes colorism, sexism and a lot of other -isms as we've discovered). I am super excited for the sessions to come; it only gets better from here.
Please let us know what you liked / what you didn't like. What could be improved, what went well. We are always open to feedback.
And of course, register for our next safe space community and conversation event >>
