For a lot of us working from home might be a tremendous challenge, but you are not alone on this one.

Like with anything else, it is a [lifestyle] adjustment, and fortunately for us, there are some tools that can help us with our productivity. After this pandemic, you might discover that you prefer to work from home than going to the office.

No matter which boat you are currently in, here are some productivity tools I have found useful during this time:

1. Toggl.com

For me knowing where time is going really helps me to keep my focus. Toggl helps you do
exactly that. You simply enter your task, start the time, and get to work. There is a desktop option and
the free basic plan allows you to track your time.

2. Mindful Browsing

One thing I noticed when I start working in my computer, I have a lot of
distractions and sometimes lose myself in Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. When I check back, it has already been30 minutes of not doing work. Mindful Browsing has been my savior. It is a chrome
extension that allows you to get gentle reminders to get off the sites that take the most time away from
you. You will automatically see a peaceful image that will tell you to get back to work.

3. Todoist

Those that are tech savvy or tech enthusiasts will love Todoist. Todoist is a

task list application where you can create tasks and check them as you get things done. The app also
allows you to set a daily goal and receive an award whenever you do complete the tasks.  I personally like to use both my own notebook to write my to do list by hand and the app for reinforcement.

4. Evernote

Whether we are at a webinar or a zoom call, taking notes can save a lot of time. Evernote is one of the best apps for taking notes. This app allows you to take easy notes, automatically save your notes and
synch it across other platforms. Now, Evernote allows you to take a full screenshot of something of a
website you want to save, how cool is that?

5. Blocksite

If you are hardcore about getting things done, this is it for you. Blocksite is a chrome extension app and
it permanently blocks sites that are distracting. It also has the feature of Work Mode schedule to block your most distracting sites during work intervals. And for my android lovers, it is available on Google Play!
