First Ladies of Poverty Foundation officially launched in 2019 as a community organization teaching Building Wealth 101 courses and offering certification programming and self employment opportunities to escape the paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle in Northampton, MA and Springfield, MA. Fast forward to today, we now serve as the catalyst for communities centers and resource hubs all over the U.S. to empower and esteem our diverse and international community of First Generation Wealth Builders Community-- those who are the first or one of the few in their family to think about or start the process of building generational wealth. We offer an academy (with a variety of courses in financial planning, business, investing and community development, as well as a book club), a group coaching and membership program, a mentor directory with private coaching options, wealth building retreats and so much more! Working with us offers unparalleled professional / career training and a supportive management team whose only wins comes from them helping you win. You simultaneously grow professionally and financially while increasing the value of your professional network, the expansion of your community impact and professional legacy and autonomy over your work / life balance. As a new team member, you are officially an honorary First Lady or First Gentleman of Poverty. This means that you have partnered with us to bring your expertise, skill(s), talent(s) and/or community to further the mission of poverty reduction via connecting those who are the first (or one of the few) in their family to think about or start the process of building generational wealth to the high-quality financial, business and investing educational resources, mentorship and community programs that we offer. You will be given the tools and training you need to succeed. It can be lucrative, but you have to be willing to work and put in the time it takes to develop your business. Your pay coincides with your results. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself as FLP gives you all the tools and training you need. There is light supervision which is mostly accountability to your own plan.
